By downloading, installing, or using the Still mobile application ("App") or website ("Website"), collectively referred to as the "Service," you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Still is a mobile application designed to support individuals in their gambling addiction recovery journey. The Service includes:
- Daily check-in and mood tracking
- Urge management tools (breathing exercises, urge surfing, tape-forward visualizations)
- Journal for reflective entries
- App and website blocking features
- Savings tracker
- Community support feature ("Circle")
- Achievement and milestone tracking
- Optional premium subscription ("Still Premium")
3. Important Disclaimers
3.1 Not Medical or Professional Advice
Still is a self-help support tool, not a medical device or professional treatment service. The App:
- Does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
- Does not replace professional treatment for gambling addiction
- Is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, or support groups
- Should be used alongside — not instead of — professional help when needed
If you are in crisis or experiencing severe addiction symptoms, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or gambling helpline immediately.
3.2 No Guarantee of Recovery
We do not guarantee that using Still will lead to recovery from gambling addiction. Recovery is a personal journey, and outcomes depend on many factors beyond the scope of this App.
3.3 Website and App Blocking Limitations
The blocking features are designed as friction tools to help you resist urges. They are not infallible security systems. Determined users may find ways to circumvent blocking. We do not guarantee that all gambling websites or applications will be blocked.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Still, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who do not meet this requirement.
5. Account Registration
5.1 Account Creation
To access certain features (including Circle and cloud sync), you must create an account. You may register using:
- Email and password
- Google Sign-In
- Sign in with Apple
5.2 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
6. Still Premium Subscription
6.1 Pricing and Billing
Still Premium is available as a subscription:
- Monthly: €4.99/month
- Annual: €44.99/year
All subscriptions include a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers.
6.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly handle payment card information.
6.3 Renewal and Cancellation
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
- You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription management settings (Apple Settings or Google Play)
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period
6.4 Free Trial
- The 3-day free trial is available once per Apple ID or Google account
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the subscription price
- You can cancel during the trial at no cost
6.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified of any price changes in advance, and changes will only apply to future billing periods.
7. User Content and Circle Community
7.1 Your Content
When you post content in the Circle feature, you:
- Retain ownership of your content
- Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your content to other Circle users for the purpose of operating the Service
- Are solely responsible for the content you post
7.2 Community Guidelines
When using the Circle, you agree not to:
- Post content that promotes gambling, gambling platforms, or related services
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Share spam, advertisements, or promotional material
- Post illegal content or content that violates others' rights
- Impersonate other users or entities
- Share other users' personal or recovery information without consent
- Post content that is sexually explicit, violent, or hateful
7.3 Content Moderation
We reserve the right to:
- Remove content that violates these guidelines
- Suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders
- Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities
7.4 Reporting
Users can report inappropriate content using the in-app reporting feature. We review reports and take appropriate action.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Circumvent any security measures or access controls
- Redistribute, sublicence, or resell the Service
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, content, and branding, is owned by Still and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
9.2 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use them without obligation or compensation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for any damages arising from your reliance on the Service as a substitute for professional treatment
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Still, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account through the App settings, which will remove your cloud data.
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
- Violate these Terms or Community Guidelines
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
- Abuse the Service or its infrastructure
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- Local data remains on your device until you delete the app
- Cloud data is deleted within 30 days
- Accrued obligations (including payment obligations) survive termination
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at contact.stillapp@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the matter informally within 30 days.
13.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights you may have under your local law.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Still regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
